2015-16 (Freshman)
Indoors, posted a personal record in the mile at the Nebraska Tune-Up with a time of 5:32.17 (Feb. 19)…set a personal best in the 3,000 meters with a time of 11:05.84 at the SDSU Classic (Feb. 12)…was part of the distance medley relay team that placed sixth at the Summit League Championship with a time of 12:53.32 (Feb. 26)...outdoors, had a personal best of 5:12.55 in the 1,500 meters at the Tulsa Duels (March 19)…recorded a personal best of 6:17.49 in the mile at the John Jacobs Invitational (April 23)…had a personal best of 11:28.08 in the 3,000 meters at the Emporia State Relays (April 2)...a member of the Summit League Academic Honor Roll.

Before UNO

Was a four-year letter winner in cross country and track for Wando High School in Mt. Pleasant, S.C….as a senior, was a member of the all-region team and finished fifth overall at the Lower State Championship where her team finished first…helped the team to a runner up finish at the state championship…was also first team academic all-conference…in track, ran the anchor leg on Wando's county champion 4 x 800 meter relay team…as a junior, was first team all-city and all-conference in cross country and first team all-state for both indoor and outdoor track…also competed for the Mt. Pleasant Track Club where she was a three-time state champion, a two-time regional qualifier and a national qualifier in the 3,000 meters and was an Olympic Distance Triathlon national qualifier.

Personal
Born April 9, 1997 in Springfield, Ill….daughter of Col. Tracy and Deb Nelson…has a brother, Everett…her father was a member of the All-Army rugby team and both her mother and brother are triathletes…majoring in exercise science and Spanish.
