OMAHA, Neb. - The University of Nebraska at Omaha hockey team scored three third period goals to post a 4-2 comeback win over the Bulldogs of Ferris State Saturday night at the Qwest Center Omaha.
The Mavs (7-2-1, 3-2-1-1 CCHA) trailed after the first period when Cody Chupp of FSU (5-4-3, 4-2-2-0 CCHA) beat UNO goalie #
Jerad Kaufmann# for an early 1-0 lead. Justin Menke and Blair Riley each earned assists on the play.

Rich Purslow# chipped in a goal just 2:23 into the frame off a pass from #
Dan Charleston and Eric Olimb#.
Charleston opened the third period onslaught when he gave the Mavericks their first lead of the contest just 50 seconds into the period. #
Alex Hudson# found Charleston open in front of the net and the senior was able to beat Pat Nagle for a 2-1 lead.
FSU was able to tie things up at two, when Corey Couturier found of the back of the net. Assists were awarded to Casey Haines and Derek Graham.
UNO was able to answer back and regain the lead just two minutes later. #
Jeric Agosta# was able to steal the puck away from a Bulldog defender deep in their own zone and put a move on Nagle to give the Mavericks the lead for good.

Matt Ambroz# capped the victory off with an empty net goal with just eight seconds remaining in the game.
Kaufmann collected 21 saves en route to his fourth win of the year.
The Mavs will return to the ice Nov. 21 when they host CCHA foe Michigan State for a weekend series. Both games are slated for a 7:05 p.m. face-off.
