As a freshman in 2007-08: Finished first in the South Dakota indoor meet with a throw of 42-2 in the shot put competition...finished eighth in the same event in the NCC indoor championship...during the outdoor season she set a personal record with a throw of 129-9 in the hammer throw during the KSU Invite...finished eighth in the NCC outdoor meet with a throw of 39-7 1/2 in the shot put.

High School: Placed fifth in the shot put in Class A at the 2007 Nebraska State Track and Field Championships...finished seventh at state as a junior...set school records in the shot put and discus...coached by Jeremy Haselhorst...was named to the honor roll all four years.

Personal: Born December 8, 1988...daughter of Tina Richter and Dan Haugland...is majoring in exercise science with the goal to become a physical therapist.
