Ran cross country and track for the Trojans where she went to the National Junior College Athletic Association championship in both disciplines in both her freshman and sophomore years...as a sophomore, her team placed 20th in the cross country nationals...also earned a sixth-place finish as part of the school's 4x800 meter relay team...also qualified for the indoor nationals in the 800 meters...as a freshman, helped the Trojans to an 18th place finish in the cross country nationals...was also a member of the 4x800 meter relay team that finished 9th at indoor nationals...was a two-year academic All-American.

High School
Attended Mount Vernon Community High School in Mount Vernon, Iowa where she ran cross country and track as a senior...was a member of the state champion 4x400 meter relay team and helped the school to a second place overall finish at the state meet.

Born Feb. 22, 1989...daugher of Annelie and Anders Svaerdh...has one brother, Andreas...will major in art and minor in real estate at UNO.
