OMAHA, Neb. – Former Omaha Hockey Menke Family Co-Captain and defenseman
Griffin Ludtke has signed with the Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL, the team announced Thursday.
Over his four years in an Omaha sweater, Ludtke played in 126 games, scoring 51 goals, with a total of 57 points. He recorded a career-high of 40 games played, four goals scored and 23 assists during the 2023-24 campaign.
During his final season as a Maverick, prior to joining the Cyclones, Ludtke recorded 17 assists.
"We are excited to watch Griffin take the next step in his career and turn pro," said Omaha head coach
Mike Gabinet. "He has been a great ambassador and leader for the program both on and off the ice. I know he has a lot of great things ahead."
