OMAHA, Neb. – Following the 2025-26 season, former Omaha Hockey forward
Cameron Mitchell signed with the Wichita Thunder of the ECHL, the team announced Thursday.
Mitchell spent four seasons with the Mavericks, appearing in 93 games while recording 10 goals and 18 assists for 28 career points.
In his senior campaign, Mitchell totaled two goals and four assists for six points, closing his collegiate career before beginning his professional career with the Thunder.
"So happy to see Cam move onto the pro level, he is a player that does the right things day in and day out," said head coach
Mike Gabinet. "He has a bright future and I am excited to watch him play."
