OMAHA, Neb. – Omaha Hockey and WoodmenLife are again partnering to show appreciation for military personnel at the Mavericks' annual Military Appreciation Game against Air Force in an exhibition on Friday, Oct. 3 at Baxter Arena.

Omaha Hockey and WoodmenLife have joined forces to show military appreciation since 2018.

The Mavericks will wear specialty camouflage jerseys purchased by WoodmenLife and auctioned off online. The auction will open for bidding on Thursday, Oct. 2, at 9 a.m. CT and close on Friday, Oct. 3, at 11:30 p.m. CT. The proceeds from the auction will be donated to the UNO Office of Military and Veteran Services.

Donations raised will be directed to support the UNO Office of Military and Veteran Services and military-connected students at UNO.

Prior to puck drop, WoodmenLife will hand out 6,000 handheld American flags for fans to wave during the game against the Falcons. Members of the ROTC will also present a 30 by 60-foot American flag on ice during the national anthem, courtesy of WoodmenLife.
