OMAHA, Neb. – Omaha Athletics announced today that a limited number of season tickets for the 2016-17 hockey season are on sale now.

Tickets may be purchased online through OMavs.com/tix or Ticketmaster.com.  Tickets also may be purchased by calling (402) 554-MAVS.

“The support of our fans in the first season at Baxter Arena was outstanding, and we're fortunate that we could offer a limited number of 2016-17 season ticket seats for those fans who would like to become members,” said Mike Amundson, associate athletic director, external operations.  “We expect these seats to sell quickly so we encourage anyone who is interested to contact us soon.”

UNO hockey opens its season on Oct. 8 when it hosts Alberta in an exhibition game at Baxter Arena.  The Mavericks' first NCAA home games are Oct. 21-22 when they host Vermont.  The full 2016-17 season schedule is available at OMavs.com.
