COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - USA Hockey and the NHL Network U.S. announced today an extension of their broadcast deal which will keep the NHL Network as the exclusive home of the International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championship in the U.S. through 2018.
This year, NHL Network will provide live broadcasts and NHL.com will offer live streams of all U.S. games for the IIHF World Junior Championship which runs from Dec. 26 - Jan. 5 in Calgary and Edmonton, Alberta.
The U.S. team, led by UNO head coach
Dean Blais, begins play on Monday, Dec. 26 against Denmark in Edmonton. The game will air live on the NHL Network at 7 p.m. CT. The full schedule is below.
Team USA's pre-tournament training camp is underway in Camrose, Alberta and will conclude on Dec. 23. The final U.S. roster is expected to be announced on Thursday. UNO freshman forward

The U.S. will have three exhibition games as part of its camp beginning tonight when it plays Russia at 8 p.m. CT.
