BIG RAPIDS, Mich. – The Ferris State Bulldogs broke a scoreless tie with two goals in the second period on their way to a 3-1 win over the UNO hockey team on Friday night in game one of their best-of-three CCHA Playoff series.

Mike Embach had two goals for Ferris State which moved to within one win of advancing to the CCHA Semifinals in Detroit next week.  Game two of the series will be played on Saturday night at 6:05 p.m. CT.  UNO will have to win in order to force a decisive game three on Sunday at 6:05 p.m.
