The University of Nebraska at Omaha Mavericks will wrap up their 2008-09 regular season schedule Tuesday, Feb. 24, as they welcome the Minnesota State University-Mankato Mavericks to town for a 7:05 p.m. CST face-off at the Qwest Center Omaha.

The two schools will be playing for the Spirit of the Maverick trophy which is awarded annually to the winner of the home-and-home series. UNO won the trophy a year ago, sweeping the season series from MSU, but will need to beat MSU by two-goals on Tuesday to retain the hardware for another season.

UNO (13-15-7, 8-13-7-3) and Minnesota State (13-15-3, 9-13-2) played once already this season, a Jan. 3 date in Mankato which saw UNO fall to MSU, 4-3.
