Nebraska-Omaha's
Bill Thomas and
Joe Grimaldi were named to the 2005 CCHA All-Rookie Team on Monday.
The Mavericks were the only team in the league to have two players selected to the freshman team.
Thomas, a Pittsburgh, PA native, has 18-24-42 this season and broke the UNO single season scoring mark for freshmen. He was named CCHA Rookie of the Week on three separate occasions.
Grimaldi, a Ronkonkoma, NY native, has tallied 3-12-15 on the blueline and leads the CCHA with a +26 rating. He is on the verge of breaking the single season record for plus/minus at UNO.
Bryan Marshall earned honorable mention to the team.
