SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Omaha Baseball sophomore right-hander Maddox Meyer was named the Summit League Kwik Star Peak Pitcher of the Week, the league announced Tuesday, following his performance at Arizona on Feb. 17.

In Omaha's 3-1 victory, Meyer (Malcolm, Neb.), a 2026 Summit League Player to Watch, delivered his best outing as a Maverick. 

He struck out 10 over six scoreless innings, allowing just two hits to earn the win.

Following the victory, Meyer was ranked No. 1 on the Division I Baseball Tuesday Top Pitchers List.

Omaha travels to Wichita, Kansas, to face (RV) Wichita State from Feb. 26-March 1. First pitch is scheduled for 3:05 p.m. CT on Thursday, Feb. 26.
