OMAHA, Neb. – Omaha Baseball placed seven student-athletes on the 2026 All-Summit League teams, the conference announced Tuesday.
The Mavericks landed two First Team All-Summit League selections in
Jackson Trout and
Tyler Bishop, while
Chase Diggins,
Henry Zipay,
Cardel Dick,
Maddox Meyer and Tanner Foersch earned Second Team honors.
Sam Beck and
Nate Moquin were also recognized as Honorable Mention All-Summit League selections.
First Team All-Summit League
Jackson Trout – First Baseman
Trout earned First Team All-Summit League honors for the second consecutive season after putting together one of the top offensive campaigns in the conference. The first baseman posted a .348 batting average while tying for the team lead with 40 hits and pacing the Mavericks with 31 RBI and eight home runs.
Among Summit League leaders, Trout ranked fourth in slugging percentage (.631), fourth in runs scored (23), third in RBI (26), second in home runs (7) and third in at-bats (103).
Tyler Bishop – Right Field
Bishop collected his second straight First Team All-Summit League selection and third career all-conference honor after another standout season at the plate.
The outfielder totaled 34 hits, a team-best 10 doubles, six home runs and 22 RBI while ranking among the Summit League leaders in multiple offensive categories. Bishop finished second in the conference in doubles and fourth in home runs.
Second Team All-Summit League
Chase Diggins – Shortstop
Diggins earned his first All-Summit League honor in his first season with the Mavericks after batting .300 in conference play. The shortstop totaled 21 hits, two doubles, one home run and seven RBI while providing a steady presence in Omaha's infield throughout the season.
Henry Zipay – Third Baseman
Zipay collected his third career All-Summit League honor following another standout season at the plate. The Omaha native led the Mavericks with a .388 batting average in Summit League play while tying for the team lead with 40 hits. He also finished second on the team with nine doubles and added 19 RBI during conference action.
Cardel Dick – Utility
Cardel earned his first All-Summit League honor following a standout season both at the plate and defensively for the Mavericks. The utility player hit .300 in Summit League play with 24 hits, three doubles, five home runs and 17 RBI, with his five homers ranking third on the team.
Behind the plate, Cardel posted a 1.000 fielding percentage with 120 putouts, 20 assists and no errors across 140 chances, while also providing versatility with appearances at second base.
Maddox Meyer – Starting Pitcher
Meyer earned his first All-Summit League honor after emerging as a key piece of Omaha's starting rotation during conference play.
The right-hander posted a 4.89 ERA with five wins and 38 strikeouts across 54.2 innings pitched against Summit League opponents. Among conference leaders, Meyer ranked third in innings pitched, third for wins and third in walks allowed with just seven.
Tanner Foertsch – Starting Pitcher
Foertsch collected his first All-Summit League honor after turning in a strong season on the mound for the Mavericks during conference play. The right-hander posted a 4.46 ERA with three wins and 16 strikeouts across 42.1 innings pitched in Summit League action.
Honorable Mention All-Summit League
Sam Beck - Starting Pitcher
In his second season as a Maverick, Beck earned Honorable Mention All-Summit League honors after recording 27 strikeouts across 23.1 innings pitched during conference play.
Nate Moquin – Relief Pitcher
Moquin earned his first Honorable Mention All-Summit League selection after serving as one of Omaha's top bullpen arms throughout conference play. The right-hander led the Mavericks with five saves, ranking fourth in the Summit League, while recording 16 strikeouts across 19.1 innings pitched.
The (2) Mavericks begin the 2026 Summit League Championship on Wednesday, May 20 at 6 p.m. CT vs. (3) Northern Colorado in Minneapolis.
