GLIBERT, Ariz. - Omaha men's tennis was ranked 10th Wednesday in the June 2025 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Central Regional Rankings.
The 2024-25 Mavericks finished the campaign 10-12, emerging victorious in three of five Summit League regular season matches.
Hunter Clark's squad fell in the Summit League semifinal to close-out the campaign.
Omaha swept Drake in the penultimate match of the season and also notched key victories against Marquette (7-0), Illinois State (5-2) and crosstown rival Creighton (4-3).
In doubles action, the Mavericks' top duo of
Mikhail Korkunov and
Bryan Kuntz earned a No. 6 ITA regional ranking, the highest in program history. The pair finished the season 16-3 in dual matches (all at No. 1 doubles), including 13 straight victories to end the season.
Korkunov finished the 2024-25 season with a 17-3 overall doubles record (one match with
Pavan Uppu) and Kuntz picked up an additional victory with
Mikel Garmendia.
