NORMAL, Ill. - Omaha Men's Tennis fell to Illinois State, 5-2, on the road on Wednesday afternoon. 

The Mavericks (12-10, 2-2 Summit League) earned both their points in the singles portion of the match against the Redbirds (9-12, 2-2). 

Graduate Bryan Kuntz (Cuiaba, Brazil) beat Illinois State's Adrian Dibildox 6-3, 6-2 in the No. 2 flight.  

Freshman Maddox Lundell (Minnetonka, Minn.) earned the other Omaha win in the No. 4 match. The freshman fell 7-5 in the first set against Tin Ostro, but came back to win 6-3, 10-6 for his 15th singles win of the spring. 

The Mavericks will host No. 71 Denver on Sunday, April 19 to end the regular season. If the match is played outside it will be held at Koch Tennis Center at 1p.m. CT. If weather forces the match to move indoors, it will be at 3:30 p.m. CT at Miracle Hill Tennis Center.
