OMAHA, Neb. - Omaha Men's Tennis fell to No. 71 Denver to end the season on Sunday afternoon. 

The Mavericks (12-11, 2-3 Summit League) picked off four sets over the Pioneers (16-5, 4-0), but no one was able to put together a full match. 

Prior to the match, the Mavs celebrated their three seniors; Liam Spiers (Calgary, Alberta, Canada), Bryan Kuntz (Cuiaba, Brazil) and Ethan Gaubert (Melbourne, Australia). 

"What an awesome day to celebrate Liam, Bryan and Ethan," head coach Hunter Clark said. "All three of these seniors have made such an impact and they will be dearly missed." 

Spiers (Calgary, Alberta, Canada) claimed the second set of the No. 1 match, while the bottom three matches each took a set. 

"The guys fought so hard today, and the score line does not show how tight this match was. The energy and competitiveness that were on display today just reminded me how special this group is and what a great year it was," Clark said.

Clark ends his second season at the helm of the Mavs with a 22-23 overall record and a 5-5 conference record.
