OMAHA, Neb. – Omaha Athletics unveiled Wednesday fan experience upgrades ahead of the 2025-26 hockey season, celebrating 10 years of Baxter Arena.
Tickets for the (RV) Omaha Hockey home opener, an exhibition against Air Force, on Friday, Oct. 3 at 7 p.m. are on sale at

Concessions
To celebrate Baxter Arena's 10th anniversary, fans will enjoy restructured pricing and newly added value combos. Fan-favorites such as water, soda, hot dogs, fries and popcorn will feature lower prices.
New additions to Baxter Arena's food and beverage program include Baxter Arena 10th anniversary souvenir cups, new kids souvenir cups, family-friend combo deals and expanded grab-and-go options for faster service.
Current UNO students can also take advantage of a long-standing special a 12-ounce soda or can and small popcorn are just $1 each with a valid MavCARD.
Also new to Baxter Arena is Bull Market Bourbon, directly supporting Omaha student-athletes and the Omaha Bull Market Collective. Available exclusively on the suite level, Maverick fans can enjoy Bull Market Reserve Victory Bourbon while Bull Market Select Pregame Bourbon will be served in the Maverick Room, Buildertrend Breakaway Lounge and at concession locations around the main concourse.

Maverick Hospitality Room Access and Season Tickets
Access to the Maverick Room, located just inside the main entrance of Baxter Arena, has been expanded to include single-game lot 25 parking pass holders and ONE Fund members at the $500 giving level and higher. Now in its second season, the Maverick Room features a full-service bar open 90 minutes before puck drop, in-between periods and postgame. Fans can greet the team as Omaha Hockey walks by the Maverick Room as part of our pregame tunnel walk.
Additionally, new premium center ice drink rail seats, located above sections 115 and 117, have been installed at Baxter Arena and limited season tickets remain available for purchase. Daktronics Display Upgrades
Omaha fans will enjoy an enhanced gameday viewing experience with a new continuous centerhung display, measuring 16.5 feet high by 85 feet around. The canvas is capable of variable content zoning allowing it to show one large image or multiple zones of content, including live video, instant replays, up-to-the-minute statistics and game information, graphics and animations and sponsorship messages.
Additionally, Baxter Arena added a new ribbon board display around the seating fascia and two video walls, each 6.5 feet by 12 feet, at the main and north entrances.
Parking Enhancements
This season, fans will have the opportunity to pre-purchase parking in lot 25 online on a game-by-game basis. This update provides fans with more flexibility and convenience, reducing wait times and ensuring a smoother arrival experience on gameday. New NCHC Frozen Faceoff Structure
Beginning this season, the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) will be moving its championship entirely to campus sites. The biggest change sees the semifinal move to a single-elimination game at two campus sites on the Saturday after the quarterfinal, with the championship game also a single elimination game at the home of the highest remaining seed a week after the semifinal. The top eight teams in the regular season will advance to the 2026 Frozen Faceoff.
