OMAHA, Neb. – Omaha Hockey head coach Mike Gabinet announced the Mavericks' 2026-27 roster Friday, highlighted by 11 newcomers joining the program.

Joining the Mavericks for the 2026-27 season are:
Jayden Jubenvill – Defenseman – North Dakota
Gavin Hodnett – Forward – Edmonton Oil Kings (WHL)
William Lacelle – Goaltender – Blainville-Boisbriand Armada (QMJHL)
Maël Lavigne – Forward – Blainville-Boisbriand Armada (QMJHL)
Aiden Oiring – Forward – Prince Albert Raiders (WHL)
Logan Wormald – Forward – Spokane Chiefs (WHL)
Vincent Desjardins – Forward – Blainville-Boisbriand Armada (QMJHL)
Carter Sotheran – Defenseman – Edmonton Oil Kings (WHL)
Arseni Marchenko – Defenseman – Fargo Force (USHL)
Parker Berge - Defenseman - Greenville Swamp Rabbits (ECHL)
Lincoln Hjelm - Forward - Tri-City Storm (USHL)

Jayden Jubenvill

Jubenvill became Omaha's first addition for the 2026-27 season after transferring from fellow NCHC member North Dakota. Over two seasons with the Fighting Hawks, he led all rookie defensemen in scoring while ranking second on the team and pacing all defensemen with a plus-8 rating.

Gavin Hodnett

Selected in the first round (No. 19 overall) by the Edmonton Oil Kings in the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft, Hodnett became the youngest player in modern Oil Kings history to record a hat trick at age 16 and the first 16-year-old in franchise history to post a five-point game (3G, 2A).

William Lacelle

Made 21 appearances for the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada during the 2025-26 season, posting a 2.11 goals-against average, a .915 save percentage and five shutouts. Entered the 2026 NHL Draft ranked No. 75 by Elite Prospects and No. 7 among North American goaltenders by NHL Central Scouting.

Maël Lavigne

Appeared in 60 games for the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada during the 2025-26 season, recording 22 goals and 26 assists for 48 points.

Aiden Oiring

Spent three and a half seasons with the Prince Albert Raiders. Across regular-season and playoff competition, he appeared in 271 games and totaled 101 goals and 264 points. Recorded 85 goals and 142 assists for 227 points in 235 regular-season games before adding 16 goals and 21 assists for 37 points in 36 playoff contests. Earned Prince Albert's "Fan Favourite Player of the Year" honor in consecutive seasons.

Logan Wormald

Recorded 31 points on eight goals and 23 assists in 39 games with the Spokane Chiefs during the 2025-26 season. Prior to joining Spokane, Wormald spent five seasons with the Lethbridge Hurricanes, totaling 99 goals and 144 assists for 243 points in 266 career games. He served as team captain during his final season with the Hurricanes.

Vincent Desjardins

Spent four seasons with the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada, appearing in 210 career games while totaling 65 goals and 148 assists for 213 points. Served as an alternate captain during his final season.

Carter Sotheran

Recorded 13 goals and 22 assists for 35 points in 30 games with the Edmonton Oil Kings during the 2025-26 season. Previously spent three and a half seasons with the Portland Winterhawks, totaling 29 goals and 108 assists for 137 points in 237 career games. Was selected by the Philadelphia Flyers in the fifth round (No. 135 overall) of the 2023 NHL Draft.

Arseni Marchenko

Appeared in 52 games with the Chicago Steel during the 2024-25 USHL season, recording three goals and three assists. Served as captain of the Fargo Force during the 2025-26 season, appearing in 59 games and contributing two goals and nine assists.

Parker Berge

Berge spent three seasons in the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL). During the 2025-26 season with the Greenville Swamp Rabbits, he appeared in 66 games and recorded eight goals and 15 assists for 23 points.

Lincoln Hjelm

The Omaha, Nebraska, native spent two seasons with the Tri-City Storm of the USHL, appearing in 102 games and totaling 27 points on nine goals and 18 assists.
