SEWARD, Neb. - The UNO men's tennis team split a pair of matches on Wednesday, defeating Concordia (Neb.), 6-3, before falling to Hastings College, 5-4.
The split put the Mavericks at 7-7 on the season. #
Eric McKnight# was the only Maverick to go 2-0 in singles play on the day. McKnight, playing No. 2 singles, beat Concordia's Jeremy Jank, 6-0, 6-2, then followed up with a 4-6, 6-1, 10-7 win over Vinny Banda of Hastings.

Anthony Forcucci#, went 1-1 at No. 1 doubles, beating Concordia's Jonathan Schleicher and Jeremy Jank, 8-6, before falling to Tyler Benson and Seton Bachle of Hastings, 8-3.

Hastings knocked off the Mavericks by taking four of six singles matches and one doubles match. Scoring points for UNO were McKnight (No. 2 singles), Otoski (No. 4 singles), Frost/Lescelius (No. 2 doubles) and Williams/Otoski (No. 3 doubles).
The Mavs have three regular-season battles remaining, with the final two coming against MIAA opponents. First, UNO resumes action on April 12 at UNK.
