Men’s Tennis set for North Dakota

OMAHA, Neb. - Omaha Men's Tennis will resume conference play at North Dakota on Friday, April 3.

The Mavericks (10-9, 0-1 Summit League) are on a two-match win streak after the past weekend due to a 7-0 win over Marquette and a 5-2 win over No. 16 Gustavus Adolphus (DIII).

North Dakota (13-6, 2-0) has a 9-5 record over the Mavs. Last season, the Fighting Hawks bested Omaha 5-2 in the regular season and 4-1 in the first round of the Summit League Championship.

Six Mavs currently hold a singles win streak with graduate Liam Spiers (Calgary, Alberta, Canada) leading the way with six straight. Freshman Maddox Lundell (Minnetonka, Minn.) leads Omaha in singles wins with a 12-5 record this spring.

In doubles, the pair of Spiers and freshman Anthony Scheglowski (Lakeville, Minn.) are up to four wins in a row.

Play is set to begin at 4:30 p.m. CT in Grand Forks, N.D. Live stats and a live stream will be available.
