DENTON, Texas - The No. 9 UNO softball team split two games on Saturday to finish with a 1-3 record at the 2011 Best Western Premier Spring Fling, hosted by Texas Woman's University.

Dana Elsasser#. The Mavericks dropped their afternoon game to Cameron 1-0.
In the win over Texas A&M International, Elsasser pitched all seven innings, allowing three hits and striking out one. #
Lauren Larson# went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI, while
Sara Elliott went 2-for-2 with a double and an RBI.
Against Cameron, the Mavs mustered just two hits - a single and a double by Larson. #
Beth Haley# threw all six innings, allowing six hits, one run and two walks while striking out five.
UNO faces Missouri-St. Louis and Northeastern State next Friday and Saturday in Emporia, Kan.
