DURANT, Okla. - The UNO softball team defeated Cameron University, 5-0, Friday afternoon in their second game of the Southeastern Oklahoma Invitational at the Durant Multi-Sports Complex.

#Amber Lutmer# broke open a scoreless game with a two-run homer in the fourth inning to give the Mavs (5-1) the 2-0 lead. The freshman from Millard West has hit a team-leading three home runs so far this season.

#Lauren Larson# went 2-for-3 with a double and RBI, while #Lindsey Slocum# earned the shutout win by striking out seven batters.

Earlier in the day, the eighth-ranked Mavs were beaten by No. 3 Angelo State, 5-1. The Mavs continue their six-game tournament schedule with two more games on Saturday, beginning at 12 p.m., against Abilene Christian and ending with a 4 p.m., game against UT-Permian Basin.
