MARYVILLE, Mo. - #Alli Hukill# hit two more home runs Sunday, giving her six during the five-game MIAA Northern Crossover as the Mavericks won twice in five inning, run-rule shortened games. Nebraska-Omaha (34-9) defeated Central Missouri, 9-1 in the opener and then closed the tournament with a 10-1 win against Missouri Southern.

#Beth Haley# (14-2) earned the win against the Jennies. She allowed four hits and a run with two strikeouts and no walks. #Melissa Negrete# got the win against the Lions as she also allowed four hits and a run with two strikeouts and no walks. She improved to 8-5 with the win.

Hukill went 2 for 3 with four RBI against Central Missouri. She cleared the bases with a grand slam in the third inning. #Treightin Yates# hit a two-run blast in the second.

Hukill and Meneely each hit two-run homers against the Lions and #Emma Wright# hit a solo shot. Wright went 3 for 3 in the game.

The Mavs have now won 14 straight games, their biggest winning streak of the year. They'll continue action Tuesday at home against Wayne State (Neb.) in a non-conference doubleheader.
