ADA, Okla. - The Mavericks pitchers picked up a pair of shutouts and the Mavs pounded out 26 hits in a pair of 10-0 wins over East Central (Okla.) and Pittsburg State Saturday in the first day of the ECU Triangular.

Nebaska-Omaha (3-3) will play PSU Sunday at 11 a.m. and finish with ECU at 1 p.m.

The Mavericks won each game by the run-rule. They defeated ECU in six innings and PSU in five.

#Lindsey Slocum gave up just three hits and a walk against the Tigers in the first game as she improved to 1-0. Melissa Negrete improved to 2-2 with a win in the second game. She allowed five hits through four innings. Beth Haley# then pitched the final inning and allowed two hits to the Gorillas.

#Emma Wright# had five hits in the two games, including her second and third home runs of the season, both against ECU. #Kristin Wellwood# and All Hukill also hit homers.

#Molly Feichtinger went 4 for 7 during the day and Katelyn Hinton# and Wellwood each picked up three hits.
