HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac Bobcats got a late powerplay goal to stop a rally by the UNO hockey team and held on for a 4-3 win on Thursday night at the TD Bank Sports Center. The Mavericks had erased a 3-0 deficit in their first game back from the Christmas break.

But Quinnipiac's Scott Zurevinski got the game winner when he knocked in a loose puck during a netmouth scramble for his second goal of the game.
The Bobcats had built a 3-0 lead on goals by Zurevinski in the first period and Jeremy Langlois (powerplay) and Loren Barron in the second.
