Katie Pickinpaugh# had a had trick as the UNO soccer team celebrated its seniors on Saturday with a 7-2 victory over Southwest Baptist at UNO Soccer Field.
At 22:44, Pickinpaugh scored her first goal of the season on a cross pass over the middle from sophomore defender #
Danielle Archuleta#. She scored again in the 59th minute on a pass across the SBU defense from #
Hayley Renshaw#. Her third came in the 86th minute on a second Archuleta pass through the middle.

Megan Kingston and Jordyn Braun both scored on head shots inside the box. Kingston scored in the 46th minute on pass from Megan Bosiljevac#, and Braun on a Renshaw pass at 60:07.

Bri Exstrom# and Archuleta each added goals in the second period, both assisted by Bosiljevac.
Seniors #
Lauren Fox and Becky Heffling# were honored before the game. Fox played 75 minutes in goal for the Mavericks, stopping ten of twelve shots.
Freshman goalkeeper #
Katelyn Tschida# played 15 minutes in goal and stopped one goal in Fox's relief.
SBU freshman Ashley Creason had both of Southwest Baptist's goals, scoring one in each period.
The win improves UNO to 7-7-1 overall and 7-5-1 in the MIAA. The Bearcats falls to 6-6-2, and 5-5-2 against MIAA opponents.
The Mavericks will play next on Thursday, Oct. 28 in a 3 p.m. matchup against Missouri Southern at UNO Soccer Field.
