Women’s Soccer inks 6 to initial 2026 signing class

OMAHA, Neb. – Omaha Women's Soccer head coach Tim Walters signed six to the 2026 class.

Joining the Mavericks for the 2026 season are:

· Nora Johnson – Forward – Omaha, Neb.
· Kate Lucas – Defender – Nerriam, Kan.
· Amarie Simmons – Midfielder – Orem, Utah
· Hayden Blaney – Goalkeeper – Omaha, Neb.
· Carina Raducu – Defender – Toronto, Ontario, Canada
· Kate Figgins – Defender – Olathe, Kan.

"We are excited to welcome the 2026 recruiting class to our Omaha Soccer family," said Walters. "We feel really good about this group's culture, on and off the field. We wanted to bring in a really hard-working group, highly athletic class and this group checks both boxes. We can't wait to get started with them in Omaha."

Nora Johnson 
Junior captain Johnson helped lead Westside High School to state, district and metro tournament appearances as a freshman and junior.

Kate Lucas 
Lucas served as co-captain and co-team MVP as a junior and earned All-Conference, Kansas 6A All-State and MOKAN All-Tournament honors. She helped guide Shawnee Mission East High School to multiple conference and regional tournament appearances.

Amarie Simmons 
Simmons was named team MVP as a freshman and earned overall MVP honors as a senior.

Hayden Blaney 
Goalkeeper Blaney earned All-State and All-Metro recognition. She posted a 15-4 record as a freshman, advancing to the quarterfinals, followed by a 13-2 record and semifinal appearance as a sophomore. As a junior, she went 16-4 and reached the state semifinal.

Carina Raducu 
Raducu, the AY Jackson Secondary School varsity indoor MVP, was iModel's top scorer and the U-21 Ontario Women's Soccer League's second-leading scorer in 2025. She is also a 2025 U-17 Canadian national champion.

Kate Figgins 
Figgins was named Olathe North High School's Most Versatile Player and earned All-Sunflower League honors as a sophomore. She trained with Kansas Rush Boys ECRL and was recognized as a #KCSoccerTalent Player to Watch as a junior.
