OMAHA, Neb. – Omaha Women's Soccer head coach
Tim Walters announced the addition of former Maverick and 2024 graduate
Meg Nemnich to the program's coaching staff.
Nemnich returns to Omaha after a decorated playing career with the Mavericks. After beginning her career at Memphis, Nemnich transferred to Omaha, where she made 69 career appearances with 32 starts, scoring two goals with one assist.
She earned Second Team All-Summit League recognition as a senior.
Nemnich joins the Mavericks following a season on staff at Eastern Michigan where she served as an assistant coach during the 2025 campaign.
With Nemnich on the bench, two Eagles earned postseason recognition, including Olivia Sipsock, who was named Second Team All-MAC and Kaylee Synk who garnered All-Freshman Team honors.
A member of a soccer-driven family, Nemnich's father was an All-American at Michigan State, where he was named Second Team All-Big Ten, recording a team-high eight goals for the Spartans in 1993.
"I'm thrilled to have
Meg back to rejoin our program as an Assistant Coach," said Walters. "
Meg is full of energy and enthusiasm, does a fantastic job on the field working with the players and is a talented, hardworking recruiter. I see incredible value in having an alum on staff who has been through the experience here as a student-athlete and has experienced great success in the Summit League."
