OMAHA, Neb. - The UNO women's basketball team got points from all but one player in an 88-53 rout of the Rockhurst University Hawks on Saturday afternoon at Sapp Fieldhouse. #
Amanda Brodsack and Ashley Nelson# each had 15 points to lead the Mavericks back to the .500 mark at 9-9.
Brodsack had 13 of her points in the first half while Nelson had 10 as UNO built a 45-29 lead at the break. Brodsack would play sparingly in the second half because of foul trouble.
In the second half, the Mavs kept pouring it on. #
Cayla Hargrove# led all Mavs in the second with 9 points. She finished with 14 for the game. #
Katie Kane# added 7 points, all in the second.

Mary Brown# came off the bench to deliver 6 points, 4 of which came off a layup and a jumper midway through the stanza. #
LaToya Wright# added 8 points, earning 6 in a 51 second stretch late in the half to make it 77-50 UNO.
Reserve guard #
Lauren Fox#, also a goalkeeper for the UNO soccer team, earned her first points of the season with a three-pointer with 4:12 to go that boosted the Mavs lead over 30 to 82-50.
UNO finished the game shooting better than 50 percent from the floor while holding the Hawks to just 31 percent shooting for the game. The Mavs out-rebounded their non-conference foes, 58-23.
No Rockhurst player finished with double digits in points. Julie Cook, Valerie Zamora and Amy Hake each had 8 points.
The Mavericks return to MIAA action next week when they visit the Northwest Missouri State University Bearcats on Wednesday, Feb. 4 at 5:30 p.m.
