Box Score MARQUETTE, Mich. -- Northern Michigan's Billy Smith scored in overtime to defeat the Mavs 4-3 and complete the sweep of Nebraska-Omaha Saturday night in Central Collegiate Hockey Association play.
Senior forward
Mick Lawrence recorded his 100th career point, 50th career goal, 20th season goal and 15th season power-play goal in the loss.
The Mavs scored first during four-on-four play with a goal from senior forward
Bill Bagron with an assist from Lawrence at 2:48 of the first.
The Wildcats equalized the score at 5:19 with a goal from Jared Brown.

Joey Martin lifted UNO to a 2-1 lead with assists from senior forwards
Brandon Scero and Lawrence. Nebraska-Omaha extended its lead just under three minutes later with Lawrence's power-play goal off of helpers from juniors
Juha Uotila and
Dan Charleston.
Matt Siddall scored for Northern Michigan at 12:56 to send the Wildcats into the third just one goal behind UNO.
NMU evened the score at 12:34 with a power-play goal from Siddall to send the teams into extra play.
At 3:40 of overtime Smith beat junior goalie
Jerad Kaufmann five-hole to top the Mavericks.
UNO is now 14-16-4 on the overall season and 11-13-4 in the CCHA, while the Wildcats rose to .500 in the conference, 12-12-2 and 15-16-3 overall.
