Indoors: Set the American collegiate record in the pentathlon, was the USTFCCCA Midwest Region Field Athlete of the Year and was the Summit League’s Field Athlete of the Year and its Field Athlete MVP for the second straight year…earned her pentathlon score of 4,498 at the USA Indoor Track & Field Championship (Feb. 21)…in the same meet, set a new school record in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 8.52 and in the long jump with a mark of 20-09 ¾…also in that meet, set a new PR in the high jump with a leap of 5-09 ¼ and in the 800 meters with a time of 2:12.87…at the Summit League Championship, won the pentathlon, 60 m hurdles, long jump and triple jump, accounting for 50 of UNO’s 109 points in the meet…her win in the 60 meter hurdles was a new PR of 7.51 (March 1)…had a PR of 24.24 in the 200 meters at the Prairie Wolf Indoor Invitational (Jan. 24)…also posted a personal best of 41-01 ¼ in the shot put during the pentathlon at the Jack Jennett Invitational (Jan. 31)…was named the USTFCCCA Athlete of the Week twice and the Summit League Field Athlete of the Week three times…outdoors: set school records in the heptathlon (6,003), 200 meters, 100 meter hurdles and triple jump while once again begin named the Summit League Field Championship MVP…set the school record in the heptathlon with a score of 6,003 at the Mt. SAC Relays (April 16-17)…in that same meet, set a school record in the 200 meters with a time of 23.54 and in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 14.00…also at the event, set a new PR in the shot put with a mark of 39-04 and in the 800 meters with a time of 2:11.93…was the Summit Champion in heptathlon with a Summit record score of 5,507…won the Summit triple jump title with a school-record distance of 41-11 ¼…also won the long jump and placed second in the 100 meters, third in the 200 meters and high jump and eighth in the javelin…her mark of 5-08 ¾ in the high jump was a new PR…accounted for 51 of UNO’s 116 team points…Summit All-League indoor and outdoor...had a personal best throw of 130-01 ¼ at the Emporia State Combined Multis (April 11)…also set a PR in the 400 meters with a time of 54.66 at the Howard Wood Dakota Relays (May 3)…a member of the Summit League track & field Academic All-League Team...Summit Academic All-League & Commissioner's List…was named the Omaha Athletics Female Athlete of the Year and the Connie Claussen Senior Career Achievement Award winner…also named the Omaha Sports Hall of Fame’s Sportswoman of the Year...named the USTFCCCA Midwest Region Field Athlete of the Year...was named the Summit League's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year and Field Athlete of the Year, the first time in league history an athlete had won both awards...set the school record in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 13.91 during the heptathlon competition at the USA Track & Field Championship (June 26)...was named a USTFCCCA All-Academic selection (July 22)...finished second in the Thorpe Cup with 5,876 points and helped the U.S. to a win over Germany...set a PR in the shot put with a throw of 40-09 3/4...a member of the Summit League Academic Honor Roll and a Distinguished Scholar.
2012-13 (Junior)
Had one of the finest seasons, indoor and outdoor, in the history of Omaha track & field…indoors, set two school records, was named the Summit League’s Field Athlete of the Year, the league’s Field Championship MVP, a member of the All-League Team and was the Summit League female track & field athlete of the week a record six times…accounted for 40 points at the Summit League Championship while winning the pentathlon, long jump and triple jump and competing in two other events (high jump, 60 m hurdles) and both relays… twice set the school record in the pentathlon and finished the season scoring a record 4,271 points while winning the USA Track & Field Championship on March 1…also set personal bests of 2:14.53 in the 800 meters and 37-10 ¾ in the shot put during the pentathlon…twice set the school’s long jump record and tied it again at the USA Track & Field Championship with a mark of 20-05 ¼…set a new personal best in the 60 meters with a time of 7.68 at the Varsity Apartments Invitational on Feb. 2…in the same meet, set a PR of 8.66 in the 60 meter hurdles…posted a PR of 24.50 in the 200 meters at the Nebraska Tune-Up on Feb. 15…in the same meet, had a PR of 42-07 ½ in the triple jump…reset her PR in the high jump with a mark of 5-07 ¾ at the Summit League Championship on Feb. 24…outdoors, set three school records, was again the Summit League’s Field Championship MVP, a member of the All-League Team and earned another Summit female track & field athlete of the week award…earned 49 points at the Summit League Championship, winning the heptathlon, long jump and triple jump while also competing in the 100 and 200 meter dashes (both second-place finishes), high jump (sixth) and both relays…set the school’s heptathlon record with a score of 5,806 at the Mt. SAC Relays on April 17-18…during the heptathlon, set a new personal best of 37-11 ½ in the shot put on April 17 and had a PR time of 2:14.90 in the 800 meters on April 18…set the school’s triple jump record for the second time in the season with a mark of 40-02 ¾ at the Beach Invitational on April 20…set the school’s long jump record twice including a jump of 20-09 to win the Summit League Championship on May 10…on that same day, had a personal best time of 11.65 in the prelims of the 100 meters…posted a PR of 24.12 in the 200 meters, taking second at the Summit League Championship, on May 11…posted a PR of 14.23 in the 100 meter hurdles at the Summit League Championship on May 9…in addition, threw for a PR of 122-00 in the javelin at the Nebraska Invitational on May 5…a member of UNO’s 4 x 400 meter relay team…also a member of the Summit League’s Academic All-League Team for both the indoor and outdoor seasons...a member of the Summit League Academic Honor Roll, a Distinguished Scholar and a member of the Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence.
2011-12 (Sophomore/Unattached)
Indoors, set multiple personal bests...posted one of UNO's best pentathlon scores with a total of 3,810 points at the Jack Jennett Invitational at Northern Iowa on Jan. 27 and 28...had three individual PRs including the shot put (31-07 1/2), the long jump (19-03 1/2) and the 800 meters (2:21.23)...had UNO's top time for the season and a PR in the 60 meters of 7.90 at the Varsity Apartments Invitational at Wichita State on Feb. 4...had four PRs in the 60 m hurdles including a season best time of 9.03 at the Concordia Indoor Invitational on Feb. 11...posted a career best mark of 5-06 in the high jump at the John Dalton Invitational at South Dakota on Feb. 17...in the same meet, had a PR of 40-08 1/4 in the triple jump...outdoors, redshirted the season but competed unattached, setting several personal bests...had a personal best score of 5,593 in the heptathlon at the Drake Relays on April 25-26...in that event, set personal bests in five of the seven events including 100 meter hurdles (14.33), high jump (5-07 3/4), shot put (36-10 1/2), 200 meters (24.77) and 800 meters (2:16.61)...had a personal best long jump mark of 19-03 1/4 competing in the heptathlon at Northwest Missouri State on April 1...also set a new PR in the triple jump of 40-01 1/4 at the Jock's Nitch Northwest Open at Northwest Missouri State on April 7, a mark that would have been a new school record had she not been competing unattached.
2010-2011 (Freshman/Sophomore)
Indoors, set a pr in the 60m hurdles with 9.62 during the pentathlon on Jan. 28 at Northern Iowa…Had a personal best of 5 feet, 3 inches in the high jump on Jan. 22 at Iowa State…Received a NCAA National Championship Provisional qualifying mark and set a pr with 38 feet, 4 ¾ inches in the triple jump on Jan. 21 at Nebraska Wesleyan. Outdoors, was an All-American in the heptathlon after finishing fifth at the NCAA Championships with a personal best score of 5,076…Came into the event ranked 12th…During the heptathlon competition, set personal bests in the high jump at 5-3 ¾, the shot put at 35-5 ¼, and the javelin at 120-8…Also had a wind-aided pr of 15.16 in the 100m hurdles during the NCAA heptathlon…Finished third in the heptathlon at the MIAA Heptathlon Championships on May 1 and 2 with a score of 4,850…Took first in the long jump during the heptathlon with a mark of 18-6 …Also took first in the heptathlon’s 800m dash with a time of 2:22.59 which was a pr …Earned a school record, a personal best and a provisional qualifying mark of 39-5 ¾ in the triple jump at the MIAA Championships on May 8… Set a pr and earned a provisional qualifying mark of 19-1 ¼ in the long jump during the MIAA Championships on May 7…Set a pr in the 200m of the heptathlon at 26.28 at the Emporia State Multi Events on April 14.
2009-10 (NA/Freshman)
Transferred to UNO following fall semester at Wayne State...played for the WSC volleyball team and saw action in five matches as a backup setter for the Wildcats, recording six set assists with three digs, one kill and one service ace...competed outdoors, recording a pr and team season-best jump of 37 feet, 2 ½ inches in the triple jump at the Ward Haylett Invite at Kansas State on May 1...also had a personal season-best jump of 17 feet, 8 ¼ inches in the long jump on April 10 at the Nebraska Invite.
Columbus Scotus Central Catholic High School
Graduate of Scotus Central Catholic High School...helped the Lady Shamrocks win the 2008 Class C-1 State Volleyball title during her senior year and earned Class C-1 First Team All-State honors with 782 set assists, the second most in a single season at the storied program...had 1,280 set assists in her career which ranks fourth all-time...also helped lead the Lady Shamrocks to a State Championship in 2006...earned All-Conference volleyball honors two times...also excelled in basketball where she was a two-time All-Conference and honorable mention All-State selection, and led her team in assists, steals, three point field goals made, three point field goal percentage and free throw percentage during her senior year...earned honorable mention All-State honors during her junior year in soccer and switched to track and field during her senior year...placed third in the long jump (17' 7 ¾") and triple jump (36' 4 ¾"), second in the 200 meter dash (26.06), and ran a leg of the first place 4x100 relay team to help Scotus win the Class B championship at the 2009 Nebraska State Track Meet during senior season...also holds school records for the long jump and triple jump.
