High School:
Competed in track and cross country…made three appearances at the state cross country meet placing ninth her senior season…was an individual champion her senior year at the Burke Invitational, Kearney High Invitational and the District meet…State champion her senior year in the 1600 m (5:10) and runner-up in the 3200 m (11:23)…was only beat once her senior year in the 1600 m…cumulated a 4.0 GPA, named NDPT Scholar Athlete of the Month (Oct. 2008), received the Greater Omaha Sports Committee Scholar Athlete Award for cross country and placed on the metro all-academic and academic all-state teams...along with teammate Megan Oddo, is one of the top distance runners to come out of the state of Nebraska in recent years.

Born June 17, 1991 in Naperville, Ill.…daughter of Jean and Bret Phillips….has two brothers…majoring in bioinformatics…plans to pursue a career in genetics.
