2011-12 (Freshman)

Opened her Maverick career by competing in all seven meets during the 2011 cross country season...Led the Maverick runners at the UNO/Creighton Classic on Sept. 3 with an eighth place finish and a time of 20:06...finished with her season best 6K time at the Woody Greeno/Nebraska Invitational on Sept. 17, posting a time of 23:40...finished the Briar Cliff Invite on Oct. 8 with a season best 5K time of 18:59...finished second overall in the win at the Yellowjacket Classic on Oct. 22 with a time of 19:29...completed her freshman year with three top ten finishes to her credit...indoors, set a personal best in the 1,000 meters with a time of 3:18.90 at the Jack Jennett Invitational at Northern Iowa...posted three PRs in the 3,000 meters including a season best time of 10:46.09 at the Varsity Apartments Invitational at Wichita State on Feb. 4...also had three PRs in the 5,000 meters including a career best time of 18:38.73 at the Nebraska Tune-Up on Feb. 17...outdoors, posted a PR of 11:09.49 at the Tulsa Duals on March 17...had a personal best time of 18:26.26 in the 5,000 meters at the Kip Janvrin Open at Simpson College on April 27...had two PRs in the 10,000 meters including a season best clocking of 39:38.12 at the Doane College Relays on April 21.

Washington High School
Was a four-year letter winner in track and cross country...as a senior, served as captain and was the team MVP while earning first team all-metro and all-conference in cross country and second team all-metro in track...posted the third-fastest 4K time in school history while qualifying for states in both cross country and track...as a junior, was first team all-metro and all-conference in cross country...helped her team to the Mississippi Valley Conference championship in cross country and a runner up finish in track...also won a divisional championship in cross country...was a member of two other MVC championships in track.

Personal
Born Sept. 11, 1992...daughter of Phil and Debbie Rogers...has two brothers, Zach and Jacob...her father played football at Nebraska from 1983-86 and her older brother currently plays baseball for Cornell College...majoring in broadcasting with the goal of being a sports reporter.
