2001-02 Season (Sophomore):
A true sophomore, he started every game, scoring in double figures 11 times...had a career-high 21 pts vs. Northern Colorado 2-23, scoring first 7 points of the game...second on the team in rebounding at 5.1 per game...scored first 7 points of second half vs. Augustana 1-19...has now started in 45 games in his two seasons as a Maverick...has had 18 career double-figure games...led the Mavs, or shared the lead, in rebounding 11 times.
Season/career best: 21 pts vs. UNC, 2-23;11 rebs vs. New York Tech 11-17.

2000-01 Season (Freshman):
Showed great promise and had some outstanding performances as a true freshman last season...scored in double figures seven times, with a career-best 17 points at South Dakota...had a career-high nine rebounds vs. Morningside and had eight against North Dakota State...ranked 20th in the NCC in rebounding at 4.9 per game.

High School:
A 2000 graduate from Omaha Burke High School...as a senior for the Bulldogs, he earned all-metro and all-Nebraska first-team honors as well as earning all-Nebraska honors selected by the Lincoln Journal Star...led his team as a senior to a 20-4 record and a state runner-up finish averaging 18.7 points and 7.5 rebounds per game...he also shot 56.8 percent from the field and 76 percent from the free throw line...named to the all-tournament all-class team at the 2000 state tournament.

Personal:
Full name is Mobolaji Olutola Dada...parents names are Bunmi and Solape Dada...A pre-dental student at UNO.

“Tola has gained some needed strength this off season. We need him to be physical and play tough inside. He has the ability to hit the 17-foot jump shot and he is a very smart player. The sky is the limit for Tola if he will continue to push himself and work hard on the practice floor.”
