Women’s Tennis to face North Dakota

OMAHA, Neb. - Omaha Women's Tennis will start a three-match road trip at North Dakota on Saturday. 

The Mavericks (12-8, 2-0 Summit League) opened conference play with a pair of wins, beating St. Thomas 4-3 and Oral Roberts 6-1 at home. 

Omaha and the Fighting Hawks (12-7, 3-0) have an even record, with both teams claiming 11 wins against the other. 

Sophomore doubles duo of Nina Wiese (Flushing, N.Y.) and Katelynn Kock (Cedar Rapids, Iowa) were named the Kwik Star Summit League Doubles Team of the Week on Tuesday (March 31) for the third time this season. The pair has a 17-2 record so far this season and is currently tied for fourth in single-season doubles wins in Omaha history.
