SIOUX FALLS, S.D. –– Omaha Baseball sophomore right-hander Maddox Meyer was named the Summit League Kwik Star Peak Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season, the league announced Tuesday, following his performance in game one of the doubleheader at North Dakota State on April 19. 

In Omaha's 6-5 victory over the Bison, Meyer, a 2026 Summit League Player to watch, turned in five scoreless innings, allowing just one hit while striking out four.

Earlier this season, he earned the honor following the Mavericks' 3-1 win over Arizona, striking out 10 over six scoreless innings, allowing just two hits to earn the win over the Big 12-member Wildcats.

Omaha is set to host crosstown rival Creighton on Wednesday, April 22 at Tal Anderson Field at 6 p.m. CT, followed by a conference series against St. Thomas in Omaha, Neb., from April 24-26.
