Women’s Tennis to open conference play at home

OMAHA, Neb. - Omaha Women's Tennis will open conference play at home with a visit from St. Thomas and Oral Roberts. 

The Mavericks (10-8, 0-0 Summit League) enter conference play off a 5-2 win at UC Riverside.  

Two Mavs have already hit the double-digit mark in singles wins this spring. Sophomore Nina Wiese (Flushing, N.Y.) has 12 wins with 10 at No. 2 and two at No. 1. Fellow sophomore Katelynn Kock (Cedar Rapids, Iowa) has 13 wins with 12 at No. 3 and one at No. 2. 

As a doubles pair, Wiese and Kock have a 15-2 record, all at No. 1. 

Omaha has a 5-0 record against St. Thomas (5-7, 0-2) and a 7-4 record against Oral Roberts (4-13, 1-0). 

The Mavericks will face the Tommies at 12:30 p.m. CT on Friday, March 27 and the Golden Eagles at 2:30 p.m. CT on Saturday, March 28. Both matches will be played indoors at Miracle Hill Tennis Center. Live streaming and live scoring will be available.
