SIOUX FALLS, S.D. –– Omaha Softball junior left-handed pitcher Maddia Groff earned her second Kwik Star Peak Pitcher of the Week nod of the season, it was announced Tuesday. The honor is Groff's eighth of her career.

In two outings vs. North Dakota State last week, Groff, an Omaha native, tossed 6.2 scoreless innings, allowing just two hits and one walk. With 10 strikeouts in a 1-0 weekend with a save, Groff held opposing hitters to a .087 average at the plate.
