SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Omaha Women's Tennis player Nina Wiese was named the Kwik Star Summit League Peak Performer of the Week, the league announced Tuesday. 

Wiese, a sophomore from Flushing, N.Y., is on a nine-match winning streak after going 2-0 in the No. 2 flight over the weekend with a 6-3, 6-0 win at Lindenwood and a 6-4, 6-1 win at Saint Louis. Her win against the Billikens secured the match for the Mavericks. This is Wiese's first time winning this award this season. 

The Mavericks are spending the week on the west coast with a match at Cal State Northridge on Thursday, March 19 and a match at UC Riverside on Saturday, March 21.
