Women’s Tennis to play Montana in neutral-site match

OMAHA, Neb. - Omaha Women's Tennis will head to Sioux Falls, S.D. to play Montana at 5:30 p.m. CT on Saturday, Feb. 7. 

The Mavericks (2-5) lost two matches in a row on the road last weekend. In each match, the Mavs secured one point. 

Against UIC, Omaha was able to open the match by winning the doubles point with wins in the No. 1 and No. 3 flight. In the No. 1 spot, sophomore Nina Wiese (Flushing, N.Y.) and sophomore Katelynn Kock (Cedar Rapids, Iowa) secured their fourth win of the spring with a 7-5 victory. Junior Khayli Buckels (Ballwin, Mo.) and freshman Shelby Smith (Leawood, Kan.) won the No. 3 match 6-4. 

Kock won the only singles match of the weekend against DePaul's Clara Nilsson with a score of 5-7, 6-3, 10-4. 

The Mavericks have never played Montana (0-3) in a spring season dual.
