OMAHA, Neb. – Omaha Women's Basketball will face off once again with North Dakota and North Dakota State inside Baxter Arena this week.
The Mavericks (2-22, 0-9 Summit) lost both road games against North Dakota (5-17, 2-7) and North Dakota State (20-2, 9-0) earlier this season.
Last time out, Omaha lost to Kansas City, 60-59, in its closest conference game yet. Freshman
Avril Smith (Omaha, Neb.) recorded her first career double-double and fellow freshman
Regan Juenemann (Crosby, Minn.) tallied 27 points for the third time this season.
Thursday's game against North Dakota will tip off at 6:30 p.m. CT and will be celebrating Black History Month. Saturday's game against North Dakota State will tip off at 1 p.m. CT will be celebrating National Girls and Women in Sports Day.
