OMAHA, Neb. – Omaha Women's Tennis is home for the Omaha/Creighton Invite on Friday, Sept. 26 and Saturday, Sept. 27 at the Koch Tennis Center in Omaha.
Omaha and Creighton are co-hosting the two-day event. Athletes will come from the host schools as well as Gustavus Adolphus and Nebraska-Kearney. Fellow Summit League teams Oral Roberts, North Dakota and South Dakota will make an appearance.
Last time out, the Mavericks made a splash in Sioux Falls with a pair of flight championships. Sophomore Nine Wiese's (Flushing, N.Y.) win streak extended to 15 matches to win the Flight A title. Freshman
Grace Greenwald (Omaha, Neb.) took home a championship in the Flight F bracket in her first outing as a Maverick.
In the doubles brackets, Wiese partnered up with sophomore
Katelynn Kock (Cedar Rapids, Iowa) to secure a title in the Flight A bracket.
Action will kick off at 11 a.m. CT on Friday and 9 a.m. CT on Saturday. All matches will be played at Koch Tennis Center.
