SAMOKOV, Bulgaria (Aug. 21, 2025) – Omaha women's basketball great Grace Cave signed a contract to play professional basketball for Rilski Sportist.
Cave finished her career in Omaha with a total of 3,339 minutes across 114 games. She averaged 41.4 percent from the field and 32.3 percent from the arc for a total of 1,336 points for the Mavs. She recorded 453 rebounds and 336 assists over four seasons in black and red.
The native of Weeping Water, Neb. was a two-time All-Summit League honoree receiving a second team nod for the 2024-25 season and was an honorable mention for the 2023-24 season.
"This is something I have dreamed of since I was a kid," Cave said. "I am super grateful for everyone at Omaha and the role they played in helping me get where I am. I can't wait to get to work."
Rilski Sportist plays in the Eurobasket/WABA League. Cave will begin play in the WABA on Oct. 8, 2025 at home against Celje.
