SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Omaha women's basketball's 2025-26 Summit League schedule was revealed Wednesday by the conference office. The Mavericks will take part in 16 Summit League matchups beginning Dec. 31 at Kansas City. Summit League women's basketball conducts the conference regular-season slate in a double round-robin format in which each member plays the other eight twice, once home and once away.
After taking on the Roos, Omaha begins 2026 at home facing defending Summit League regular-season and tournament champion South Dakota State on Jan. 3 before hitting the road for North Dakota (Jan. 8) and North Dakota State (Jan. 10). Facing St. Thomas at Baxter Arena on Jan. 15, Omaha heads to Tulsa to face Oral Roberts on Jan. 17, followed by South Dakota at Baxter Arena on Jan. 22.
First-year head coach
Jamie Carey will lead the Mavericks to Brookings, S.D. on Jan. 28 to face the Jackrabbits, followed by a three-game homestand which sees Kansas City (Jan. 31), North Dakota (Feb. 5) and North Dakota State (Feb. 7) visit Omaha.
Conference action rolls on in February with a trio of road matchups at Denver (Feb. 11), at St. Thomas (Feb. 14) and at South Dakota (Feb. 21). Omaha concludes the regular-season at home, welcoming Oral Roberts (Feb. 25) and Denver (Feb. 28) to Baxter Arena.
The 2026 Summit League Women's Basketball Championship begins Wednesday, March 4 in Sioux Falls, S.D. at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center.
