GILBERT, Ariz. (July 21, 2025) – Omaha women's tennis was named an Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-Academic Team.
The Mavs earned the All-Academic Team award which is awarded to teams with a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.2 on a 4.0 scale. Omaha recorded a cumulative GPA of 3.669 for the 2024-25 academic year. The spring semester marked 11 straight semesters of the team having a GPA of at least 3.5.
Eight Mavs were also named to the ITA Scholar Athlete list.

Khayli Buckels,
Nina Wiese,
Summer Shannon,
Katelynn Kock,
Zoe Adkins and
Colby Kelley all earned the honor which requires them to have at least a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale. Six Mavs were named to either the dean's list or the chancellor's list for each semester.
