OMAHA, Neb. - For the first time in 322 days, the Omaha softball team takes the field at Maverick Park as the defending Summit League champions welcome St. Thomas to
Connie Claussen Field for a three-game set. Omaha (19-5, 0-0 Summit) begins a seven-game starting off with the doubleheader against the Tommies on Saturday, March 22 with first pitch of game one scheduled for 1 p.m. CT. Sunday's single game will also start at 1 p.m. CT. All three games of the series will air on the Summit League Network powered by Midco Sports Plus.
- Omaha finished 12-2 at home in 2024, the best mark in the Summit League (.857 winning percentage at Connie Claussen Field in 2024).
- Rylinn Groff has started all 24 games behind the dish for Omaha this season and boasts the team's longest active reached base streak at eight-consecutive games.
- Groff has also recorded a hit in five-straight contests (longest active hitting streak among Mavericks).
- Marra Cramer and Sydney Thomason lead the team with seven multi-RBI games each... Cramer has notched three RBI in a game three times in 2025.
- Maddia Groff's strikeout-to-walk ratio of 10.90 is the 10th best in the nation (leads Summit League).
- The Mavericks' defense is currently the Summit League's standard through the initial non-conference matchups as Omaha boasts a fielding percentage of .975, including the fewest errors of any Summit League squad.
- M. Groff's ERA of 1.36 leads all Summit League pitchers
- Omaha won the season series with the Tommies a year ago (2-1)
