OMAHA, Neb. – Omaha Women's Tennis head coach
Adam Summitt announced the team's 2026 match schedule Monday.
"We are excited for the challenge that awaits us this upcoming spring," Summitt said. "We feel that we have put together a schedule that will prepare us for Summit League play come March. This will challenge players right away and see what we are capable of. We have a young team and this experience will be valuable for them as we grow throughout the season. We hope to see a lot of fans coming out to our home matches and supporting the women."
The Mavericks will start the dual match season off in Lincoln, Neb. with a neutral site match against James Madison on Jan. 17. The next day, they will play back-to-back matches against Nebraska. Jan. 23 will bring another doubleheader and the home opener for the Mavs with a visit from Concordia (Neb.) and Sioux Falls. Omaha will close out the month of January with a trip to the Windy City to face DePaul on Jan. 30 and UIC on Jan. 31.
February will start with another neutral site match. This time, Omaha will face Montana in Sioux Falls, S.D. The next three matches will all be played at home for the Mavericks longest home stand of the season. Missouri State will come to visit on Feb. 13 followed by Northern Iowa on Valentine's Day. A week later, Western Illinois will make the trip out for a match on Feb. 20.
Omaha won't travel far for its last match of the month. It will play Creighton on Feb. 22.
March will welcome Chicago State to Omaha on March 6. From there, the Mavs will hit the road to play Drake on March 8, Lindenwood on March 13 and Saint Louis on March 14. The Mavericks will spend spring break in California with a match at Cal State Northridge on March 19 and UC Riverside on March 21.
Summit League play will start on Mar. 27 when St. Thomas comes to Omaha. Oral Roberts will visit the day after. The Mavs will head to North Dakota on April 4 then South Dakota on April 10. Kansas City will be the final road match of the season for Omaha on April 12.
The Summit League Championship will be held on April 24 and 25 in Tulsa, Okla.
