OMAHA, Neb. – For its first games in Baxter Arena, Omaha Women's Basketball will host CSU Bakersfield on Thursday, Nov. 20 at 6:30 p.m. and Lindenwood on Saturday, Nov. 22 at 1 p.m. CT.
The Mavericks (1-4) lead the Road Runners (0-4) 3-2 all-time. The last time these two teams met, Omaha pulled off an 87-79 win over Bakersfield. During that game, junior
Cora Olsen (Omaha, Neb.), then a freshman, tallied four points, four rebounds and one steal in nine minutes on the court.
Omaha has only played Lindenwood (3-1) once before. Last season, the Mavericks defeated the Lions 73-66 in St. Charles, Mo.
Thursday's game will have receptacles for donations for Toys for Tots at the front entrance. Any unopened toys can be donated to be distributed during the holiday season. The game will also have a free magnet schedule giveaway for the first 250 fans.
Both games will be streamed on the Summit League Network.
