Omaha centerman
Jimmy Glynn is set to return to the Mavericks for his fifth and final year.
Glynn is coming off his best season in a Maverick sweater. His nine goals and 15 points were both career best marks for the Omaha forward. Three of his goals this year were game winning goals. They came against Long Island, Augustana and Colorado College in one of the biggest games of the year, game two of the NCHC Playoffs in the quarterfinal round.
A member of the century club, the Lemont, Illinois native has played in 127 career games. He's netted 20 goals and registered 22 helpers for 42 points. Of his 20 goals, six have been game winners and one was shorthanded.
Glynn tallied his first career three-game goal streak from 3/16 – 3/22 when he scored in the final two games against CC and against North Dakota in the Frozen Faceoff.
"The past four years here at Omaha have taught me so many lessons and it has been a great place for me to not only grow and develop as a player, but a person as well," Glynn said. "I've decided to come back for my fifth year because of the coaching staff, fans, and culture that has continued to build year after year."
